Emergencies

If you feel you need immediate assistance, the Counseling Center provides urgent care on a walk-in basis. Anytime between 9:00 and 4:30 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 9:30 to 4:30 on Tuesdays, you can meet briefly and confidentially with a counselor. Unlike more comprehensive intakes, urgent care consultations (typically 30 minutes or less) focus on helping you cope with current stressors that are significantly reducing your ability to function at school or in other important aspects of your life. Because such walk-in consultations are not scheduled, you may occasionally experience a short wait to be seen, rarely more than 30 minutes.

If you are experiencing a crisis situation after hours and cannot wait until we are open, please call the Crisis Clinic at (206) 461-3222 or toll-free at 1-866-427-4747. Click [here] for details about the Crisis Clinic. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please dial 911.
